Primary 6/7

Primary 6/7 are looking forward to a very busy and exciting final term at Holy Family.

In reading, the children are soon to embark on a novel study. This will be a challenging and exciting experience for the children. Please encourage your child to read a variety of texts at home to develop their knowledge of vocabulary.

In maths, we are going to be working actively on volume and capacity and bearings and angles. Primary 7 will also have the opportunity to work with percentages, multiplication and division.

Our topics this year include Matilda, World War II, The Swinging 60s and a science topic in the final term.

June is going to be especially busy for the boys and girls of Primary 7. The children will spend three days visiting their new high school and getting to know their new teachers.

They are also going a trip to the Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre where they will participate in a day of sport and fun!
