Mugdock Ranger visit

Stuart who works at Mugdock Country Park came to talk to us about his job caring for wild animals in the park.  He talked to us about squirrels, badgers, bats who all hibernate during our long cold winter.  He also talked to us about moles and the damage they do to the grass at Mugdock!

He brought with him a real deer skull, some barn owl and tawny owl wings and talons and a fox fur which we got to feel.  Most of us thought it felt very cosy!
