Anti Racism Competition

Anna McSherry and Orla Simpson entered Show Racism the Red Cards National Anti-racism competition and were both winners. Anna won a prize in the primary 3 – 5 category and Orla won a prize in the primary 6-7 category.  They attended the awards ceremony which was held at Hampden Park, the home of Scottish Football with their class and teachers.Anna was presented with a family pass to see Clyde FC next season by David Tanner from Sky Sports, Mark Hateley Rangers football club ambassador and former player and Fuad Alakbrov from Amnesty International.  Orla was presented with a signed Scotland top by David Tanner from Sky sports, Anna Signeul the Scotland Womens National team coach and Stephen Canale from Police Scotland.  Alyshia Walker from Glasgow City FC, Mark Hateley Rangers FC ambassador and Craig Gordon from Celtic FC were on hand on the day to present the young people with their prizes.
